Sponsoring Organisations

The CPMM Project is being sponsored by five pharmacy organisations - the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, the National Pharmaceutical Association, the Company Chemists Association and the Co-Operative Pharmacy Technical Panel. The Department of Health is funding the project as part of the Governments Pharmacy programme.

Each of the five sponsoring organisations is represented by their President or Chairman, and their Chief Executive, on a high-level group which provides a steering function and oversees the Project. The Project Board reports to this group.

Project Management

The Project is managed formally, with a Project Board under the chairmanship of Mike King of the PSNC. A number of working sub-groups have also been formed to advise on specific aspects, including Education, Training and Ethical Issues, Premises, Communications and Research, as well as the design of the Intervention itself.

The project manager is Ms Helen Rhodes.
