Shipley and Baildon form part of the Bradford North area. This area is classed as urban and the project covers six GP practices and seven community pharmacies. The Practices involved cover a population of 47,500 in total and cover a range of different communities.

The Pharmacists involved are mainly independents (5/2 ratio) and are all located within the centre of Shipley or Baildon, within easy walking distance of many other local amenities. They range in size from single-handed operations to multi-handed employing upwards of six staff
