The CPMM Project will be conducted at nine different areas throughout the country. They were selected from 33 bids from groups of organisations - particularly local pharmaceutical committees and primary care organisations - that expressed an interest in participating in the project. The areas were chosen so as to include a cross section of settings (rural, small town, city centre), ethnicity, deprivation, general practices (large, small, single-handed) and community pharmacies (national / small multiple, owner managed).
